Privacy Policy

The short version

1. Who we are

This policy describes how Lean Line LLC ("LeanLine", "we", "us") handles personal information on goleanline.com and in the services we provide to roofing contractors: answering calls, organizing customer details, preparing roof proposals for the contractor's review, and following up on the contractor's behalf. Our services are for businesses, not consumers.

2. This website

What we collect

What we do not do

If we add forms, third-party tools or other tracking, we will update this policy before they go live and, where the law requires, ask for your consent.

3. Information in our services

When you contact us about, sign up for or use our services, we may handle the following.

We receive this information from you, from your callers and customers during the work we do for you, and from the tools and providers described in section 6.

4. Your callers' information

When we handle calls, messages or proposals for a roofing contractor, the contractor is the business that decides why and how its customers' information is used, and LeanLine processes it on the contractor's behalf as a service provider. We use that information to provide the service and as our agreement with the contractor permits, not to market to those individuals.

If you are a homeowner or caller and want to see, correct or delete your information, the best route is to contact the roofing company you were dealing with. You can also write to us at info@goleanline.com and we will pass your request to the contractor or act on it as required by law.

Contractors are responsible for giving their own customers any notices, and obtaining any consents, that the law requires for the way the contractor's calls are handled, including call recording or monitoring notices. Laws on recording calls differ by state.

5. How we use information

We may also contact businesses about LeanLine's services. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying or writing to info@goleanline.com.

6. How we share information

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:

7. Automation and AI

Our services are delivered mainly by people. We use software, including AI, for tasks such as transcription, summarizing, drafting, voice previews, measurement from imagery and, where a customer adds an AI overnight service, call handling outside staffed hours. We label AI voice simulations as such. Contractors review proposals before they go to a homeowner. We do not use your information to train a third party's general-purpose AI models, and we require our AI providers to handle it only to provide their service to us.

8. Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Retention periods for customer and call data, including any recordings, are set out in the customer's service agreement. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Emails sent to us are kept as business correspondence. Website visit statistics (section 2) are kept for up to 13 months and then deleted automatically.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including access limited to people who need it, encrypted connections and protected storage of credentials. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your information, we will notify you as the law and our agreements require.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Texas, Florida and other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access, correct or delete it, to receive a copy, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or of targeted advertising (we do neither). You will not be treated unfairly for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email info@goleanline.com with enough detail for us to find your information. We may need to verify your identity, and an authorized agent may act for you with your written permission. If we act for a contractor, we may direct you to the contractor as described in section 4. If we decline a request, you may ask us to explain why and, where the law provides, to reconsider.

You can stop marketing emails at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or writing to us.

11. Where information is processed

We serve contractors in the United States and process information mainly in the United States. Members of our team and some service providers may access information from other countries, always under our confidentiality and security requirements. By using our services or contacting us, you understand your information may be handled in these places.

12. Children

Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell customers directly or post a notice on this site.
